Once a recurring guest, now the official co-host, you can find Jason on UMFM's "The Hockey Show" with Trevor 'Teebz' Alexander, live every Thursday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

As Teebz likes to say, "the Hockey Show is the only campus-produced radio show that strictly talks hockey." Every week Jason and Teebz delve into the news from around the hockey world, and while that often involves talking about the NHL, they pay particular attention to other, less talked about leagues, with a sharp focus on everything local to Manitoba.
Play-by-Play for the University of Manitoba Bisons Men's Hockey Team
Since 2018, Jason has been the play-by-play for for the University of Manitoba Bisons men's hockey team, broadcasting live through 101.5 UMFM in Winnipeg, the UMFM Second Stream, and Canada West TV.

Academic Research
Before beginning his career in the non-profit world as a research analyst in the lottery industry, Jason was an academic.
Earning his Master's in Sociology in 2020, Jason has been published in multiple journals since then. His research has primarily focused on the application of multivariate statistical analysis to gambling, validating and expanding the utilization of measurement and diagnostic tools to new populations, and testing behavioral relationships in gambling.

This expertise and experience helps Jason now in his position with the Western Canada Lottery Corporation, where he has been helping the organization with strategic and business planning, delivering business insights, and helping the organization learn more about its products and players.
